Bob Dylan
For Sale Or Just On The Shelf

Just when you think all has been said about Bob Dylan's early years through his official Bootleg Series, along comes a 6-CD set, For Sale Or Just On The Shelf, that completely changes your view. Here's a set that collects all known alternative versions and outtakes of songs from Dylan's first four albums, Bob Dylan, The Times They Are A-Changin', The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan and Another Side Of Bob Dylan. And in surprisingly superior sound quality.

This is a massive archival project (obviously a labor of love) compiling all the circulating outtakes from Dylan's first four albums, as well as variant forms and mixes, plus carefully selected live recordings and alternative performances of those songs. Variant mixes of the officially released tracks are shown in standard type, but the acetate-sourced versions of officially released tracks are marked as officially released versions even if they are extended to include producer's comments, countoffs, etc.
