second shout. CD2 appears to be DAO. Tk 6 on CD2 is cut. Tk 7 is

The Clash - Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg [Redline 2CD] CD1 is the
Mick Jones mix of the original album that later became 1982s

to Mick Jones being fired from the band. CD2 are remixes, outtakes
and instrumentals. Much of the Mick Jones material has reappeared
on various Clash compilations over the years. The following are
officially available:

every Clash compilation.
"As
an aside, the story about Mick finding cassette copies of the long-lost
Vanilla Tapes when moving house are absolutely true. On the
other hand, he's had possession of the Rat Patrol acetates all along.
The surviving members of the Clash are a bit tired though
of the reissue promotion business following the London Calling 25th
Anniversary version and the whole Rat Patrol/Combat Rock issue has
remained unresolved in the Clash camp enough that the outtakes have
never been included on any rarities collection or box set. With
Joe dead, the others may well decide to leave it at that. That
would be a shame. I think Fulham and Idle are both worthy
of release, and while it's arguable whether Combat Rock was an improvement
on Rat Patrol at Fort Bragg, the latter has an artistic coherence
the final version lacked." - TeddyB1018 at 2005-10-14 07:12:57

live recordings of Gordon Lightfoot as a solo artist, this was recorded
around the time he recorded his first full album on United Artists
records which was releases in January 1966. These recordings were
released split in two, incomplete at the now very hard to find bootleg
albums "Yellow Bird" and "Get Together" on Koala records. Lightfoot
sounds a bit nervous sometimes and even forgot some of his lyrics

is very good for an old recording like this and it's great to hear
these songs from his first and, in my opinion best record he made."

U2 - Live at the Malibu Night Club 1981 [no label 2CD Torrent: 66563]
live at Lido Beach, New York, Dec 13, 1981. This show was broadcast
on WLIR-FM. "This is one of the *FINEST* U2 shows ever performed,
period! I say that with absolutely no fear of contradiction...When
this show was recorded, U2 was a little-known import band from Ireland.
They had recently performed in front of an audience of only 12 people,
if that means anything. They were announced previously on another
night as being from England. They were young, hot, and ready to
go, and it shows in the performance they gave. I am dumbfounded
that no one has ever put this concert out commercially. It tops
"Live at Red Rocks" by a mile.
"By
the time this show was recorded, the band had lost their early hysterics
and had settled down to a high-intensity, shimmering groove. They
had started the "October" tour in October, and already had several
shows under their belts before performing at the Malibu Night Club
in December. The show was picked up by WLIR-FM and was widely broadcast
as part of their home-grown "In Concert" series." Ex FM stereo.
Recorded on reel-to-reel.

65774] live at Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, California, USA, March
19, 1974 with Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman
& Alan White. "A beautifully captured Tales From Topographic
Oceans experience, and hands down the single best-sounding, most
complete, Post-Remembering Tales tape yet to surface. There is a
very small cut at the tail-end of The Ancient, and some minor tape
damage during Ritual and Roundabout, but that's it."
"Two
different tapes of this show have turned up: One was used to press
a vinyl bootleg of part of the concert and the other is this nearly
complete excellent source tape. While both have circulated among
yes collectors since the 1970s, this particular generation was an
upgrade that circulated mainly among DAT collectors and traders."
