London, July 3, 1973. This version contains the Jeff Beck portion, the

allow his portion in the audio and video to be ever officially released.

of the concert was not suitable for filming. Also it is unlikely there

James Brown - Live At Boston Garden 1968 [no label 1DVD Torrent: 17467]
"This is a complete concert that was broadcast live on April 5, 1968,
just 24 hours after the assassination of civil rights leader, Martin Luther
King, Jr. Violence erupted in Boston, as it did in many American cities.
Concerned about the possibility of full-scale riots, Mayor Kevin White
considered canceling public events, including a James Brown concert scheduled
that evening at Boston Garden.
"But doing so, the
local leaders warned, might push an already agitated community over the
edge. The mayor agreed, and Brown soothed the grieving audience with an
electrifying performance in memory of Dr. King.
"The crowd becomes
wild, jumping on stage surrounding the godfather of soul, James Brown.
Police try to no avail to push the crowds off the stage, but it gets worse.
James Brown takes control of the whole situation and the show goes on!
Actual shot from video. Pro-Shot for television."
The DVD is not perfect. Whoever booted this to DVD messed up here and
there, inserting a few segments twice (one excruciating one, of a very
unfunny comedian's routine, appears twice). But it looks as if the show
is indeed complete, it would just need a few nips and tucks to correct
the flow. Video VG+, Audio Ex- mono? Time: 105 min./Black & White

Elton John - BBC In Concert 1970 w/outtakes [MasterPort 1 DVD NTSC Torrent
#60383] live in BBC studios, May 22, 1970. Complete show with outtakes,
53 mins. "The BBC In Concert that was posted before, was from the Trio
rebroadcast. This is from the BBC original tape. The sound is great, very
little hiss, and the video looks as if it came from the original master.
If the Trio version video is a 10, this version is a 9.5. In other words,
there is very little quality drop off. Also, the Trio version cut out
a bit of the crowd shots as they went to commercial. The original BBC
broadcast had no such breaks. From what I can figure it's about 30 seconds
longer. The best aspect is the additional footage. Cuts 8-14 are different
versions of the In Concert songs. You can hear the Director after Burn
Down The Mission, #8, say, "We're gonna do that one again." Five songs
total are presented in alternative versions. The Greatest Discovery, #11
on the box is really just an alternate intro of Bernie. Every other song
is a complete different take. For instance, the performance of, Sixty
Years On sounds a bit out of sync and needed a re-take. The quality of
the outtakes are the same as the original show." Video & Audio Ex
