what "Piknik Kasteel Groeneveld Baarn" means as to the venue, place and
radio show but I've had this previously listed as Baary, Holland "Piknik

have been the original broadcast date with the info I had being for the
recording date. Any clarifications will be appreciated."

Vivian Stanshall - Sir Henry at Rawlinson End (dusted down) Disc One [no
label 1CD Torrent: 82850] Vivian Stanshall's 'Rawlinson End' material
as broadcast by BBC radio on the John Peel show between 1975 & 1991.
"The source is the 3CD set which has been circulating among traders for
some time and among Stanshall fans for much longer. The commonly-circulating
version (i.e. this one) lacks one non-Rawlinson song (a Viv version of
'Trail of the Lonesome Pine') from the first Peel broadcast of 27 October
1975. Otherwise it is a complete record of the Ginger Geezer's Peel broadcasts."
"I cleaned my copies of the files up a bit using Sound Forge. The clean-up
consisted of no more than nipping, tucking and trimming the wav files,
removing of weird tracking points [especially on Disc One] and deleting
silences that were obviously not part of the original broadcasts." VG+

Sting - MTV Unplugged Rehearsals and Outtakes [no label 1CD Torrent: 69776]
"Enjoy this excerpt from Sting's rehearsal sessions for MTV Unplugged
- straight from the soundboard! This is a fascinating glimpse into the
process that goes into putting a performance together. Featuring Sting's
legendary lineup from "The Soul Cages" and "Ten Summoners' Tales" tours,
this 70+ minute recording reveals how Sting breaks down his band's existing
"electric" arrangements and rebuilds them to suit the acoustic format
(tracks 6 and 7 are particularly interesting in this regard). The band
also tries some tunes that don't make it to the final broadcast setlist."
