Forever Sunset [2CD]. One of the earlier performances with Crazy Horse at the Fillmore East in New York on Mar 6, 1970. Both the evening and late show are included in clear soundboard quality. All of Young's fiery disposition is on show here playing three [at the time] new songs.

This is an audience recording. Apparently this show was broadcast on radio. This version is different from Spirit of '69 in that the tracks are now in the correct performance order. VG- AUD stereo.

Some Are Bound For Sadness [2CD]. Recorded live in London at the Royal Festival Hall on Feb 27, 1971 during his solo tour. Incredible ambience and intimacy in this close to the mic audience recording. Marvel at how young he is, his cockney imitation and that sense of humour. Young plays guitar and harmonica and switches to the piano for some songs. No one else is on stage. At this show, 11 songs he played had never yet been recorded. What audacity. He handles his Vietnam protest song, Ohio, with sincere anguish. One of the best albums to get free on the net. This one will haunt you.

Broken Arrow [BBC sessions Feb 23 1971 and acetates from Tonight's The Night '75]

Cobo Hall [2CD]. A super rare recording of the Stray Gators with both Kenney Buttry [drms] and Jack Nitzsche [piano] in the band. This is a slightly hissy audience recording made on Jan 8, 1973 at Cobo Hall in Detroit.

Lonely Weekend [2CD]. An excellent audience recording from Jan 15, 1973 at the Maple Leaf Garden in Toronto. Young was on the road trying to shake away the glam of Heart Of Gold with some new rawer songs like L.A., Journey Through The Past, Borrowed Tune, New Mama, Alabama, Don't Be Denied, Lookout Joe and the still unreleased Say You Will. Welcome To Miami Beach 2 [2CD]. Don't be misled by the title. This one's from the Rainbow Theatre in London on Nov 5, 1973 when he took the Tonight's The Night album on tour even before it was released. What daring. Back in the day, English rock critics who saw this and the Manchester show, sounded the alert to all music fans that Young was really cooking. Now you can hear it too. Very good sound. With Santa Monica Flyers.
